WHO WE ARE

In 1983, the vision of what is now known nationwide as Children’s Specialties, Inc. began in a small garage workshop. Known then as Master’s Hand Carpentry, the foundations of Children’s Specialties, Inc. were being formed.

​In addition, Children’s Specialties, Inc. gives a portion of every project’s proceeds back into charitable organizations. Our customers can know that when they do business with us, they are also giving back to their communities. This is just one way Children's Specialties desires to bring people together.

We began by designing furniture and playground equipment for preschools and backyards. Built upon strong character and lots of hard work, Master’s Hand Carpentry took shape and grew. Ten years later, as a result of this growth and a demand from their customers for a larger national influence, Master’s Hand Carpentry reorganized its structure, and Children’s Specialties, Inc. was officially born.

Today, under the leadership of Dave and his wife, Jen, Children’s Specialties is partnered with the leading commercial manufacturers in indoor/outdoor recreation equipment, site amenities, and custom playground design. Children’s Specialties, Inc. has grown from that small garage workshop to multiple offices and projects nationwide.

Time has progressed and many seasons have come and gone, but the heart of Children’s Specialties, Inc. still remains the same. Our team has always been about helping people and bringing them together. From the days of our small beginnings to where we are now, that principle has never changed. Our goal at Children’s Specialties is to serve our customers with excellence and integrity and exceed their expectations by partnering together to bring them the best products and services available.
